At what age would it be acceptable for your daughter to date? Your son?
a) Dad #1 – Ooh that’s a tough one. I guess if it’s a situation where they are doing something out together…I don’t know, like 7th or 8th grade. I’m not going to be that person like gonna sit in the movies with them but I’ll drop them off and pick them up ON TIME that we agreed on. Hopefully, if we’re raising her right, she will make the right decisions.
b) Dad #2 – 17 for the daughter. 15 for the son. And yes there’s a double standard.
c) Dad #3 – Once they are out of high school. I’m not trying to control them but just want to teach them the game and how things should be. I’ll advise “I don’t think it’s smart to have a boyfriend/girlfriend in high school” but they can make a choice. I can’t be mad at them.
