Yo! Mama’s Black Table: Teachers Plans for Fall

Hey guys! I hope everyone enjoyed or at least enjoyed reading about and viewing our summer program content. The kids had a blast. As students and parents prepare for the 2020-21 school year, one has to consider what’s going on in the minds of the teachers. Are they worried? Are they ready? Have they taken any professional development courses to master the art of virtual teaching? For schools allowing in-person teaching, will masks be required? How often will they have to sanitize the classrooms? Well, I invited some pretty amazing teachers to my black table (virtually of course) to answer some of these questions and share their thoughts. Check out this video! https://youtu.be/sFwlio9lNas

P.S. I will be adding a few more responses at a later time but did want to share one of the resources that a teacher passed along for those in the STL area seeking tutoring assistance:

Be safe & have a great school year! I’ll be sure to let you know how the first week of school goes next week.

Love,

Yo! Mama
